[CS800DMR] Talkaround Issue - glitches are annoying

I personally this you guys do a great job on the radios.. I am running 1.01.01 on my cs800 with only a few minor glitches.. But the few glitches are annoying at times, seems I can't carry on a conversation on the radio because I sometime cannot here the reply.. also it will sometimes not transmit out even though the red light is on indicating transmit. 

I know you guys are working on this but would love to see a firmware update soon..

[CS800DMR] Talkaround Issue

Has anyone else noticed that the talkaround option does not come up in the utilities menu? I have it enabled to show in CPS, but it does not appear on the radio.

Assigning button 3 to "repeat/talkaround" and then pressing it does not toggle talkaround on and off.

If you program a channel with talkaround enabled, you can go back and change it in CPS, but the radio ignores the change when you write it to the radio again. The only fix is to create a new channel. Since you cannot toggle it on and off on the radio, you are stuck.

CS800 Mobile Friendly Button Assignments

First and foremost P4 is the main menu, so I started with leaving it as is along with its Menu Button counterparts.

Now the Button settings for normal cruising down the road. Granted these are my preferences for reasons explained. Your mileage, and or desires may vary. The principle factor for me is eyes-on-road, not on radio operation.

In keeping with the Menu Prior & Next Setting, I wanted P2 and P3 to serve as Prior Zone (down), or Next Zone(up).

Without two knobs on the radio, I want my sole knob to serve as channel selector in order to dial my way up or down through the channels one by one with a twist of P8. Having now dedicated that knob to channel activities, I also set the P7 (Push-In) to trigger scan on and off with the channels in the zone I am dialed into.

Here How I read and write.
1) Use CSI's USB to serial cable.
2) Use CSI CPS_V3.03.20.
3) just pushed the power button only to turn on the radio
Do not pushed and held P1 with power button (It is only for firmware update only)
4) Use CPS V3.03.20 to readi and write the radio.

USB to MIC connector cable is not for read and write to the radio.
Please use the USB to Serial cable.

Contact lists for uploading to CSI radios

DMR-Marc.net  updates the contact lists nightly, especially since they are the ones who generate the new users lists. 

Here is a source, supposedly updated daily, with all DMR contacts sorted by nation and state.

Does the CS750 radio support 65k+ users contacts?  The reason I am asking is that the CS750 CPS software crashes when I am trying to upload a large file. Has anyone tried to upload 8000+ contacts? 

Some time in the future after a few more FW upgrades, this will then be possible.

The foxhollow server downloads & processes the nightly full database from the DMR-MARC website.  If you know of someone that got a new ID today, the foxhollow download ZIP file will have that new ID by tomorrow morning.

I currently create the files in CS700/MD380 CSV format as well as CS750 XLSX format.  If another type of file is needed, send me a message and I'll add it to the daily dumps.
