Upgrade Firmware for CS800

Upgrade Firmware for CS800 (Disclaimer-It worked for me)

Disclaimer- Not an expert, Not a representative of CSI and it worked for me. If you don't have a basic understanding of manipulating softwares and files, then make sure you understand before you start messing around or ask for help from somebody that does.

To upgrade your CS800 to the lastest firmware, You will need the latest flash burn version 1.10
which you can get from the Connect Systems Website  under the CS750 Radio. Its not under the CS800 section. Flashburn 1.10 Download and open it. Minimize it (has an icon of a micro chip).
You will need it later  to upload the Mobile bootloader R2.01S.bin and the Firmware version 1.01.01 .bin
to your CS800. (MUST LOAD BOOT LOADER FIRST)

Download the Mobile_Bootloader_ R2.01S.bin from the CS800 Section of the Connect Systems Website

Download the Firmware Version 1.01.01  from the CS800 Section of the Connect Systems Website
All these downloads will stay sitting in your down load file until you go use them later.

Plug in your programming cable to the USB port and serial port of your computer just like you did to install your code plug.Turn off radio.

Open the Flashburn 1.10 that you downloaded, opened and minimized and you will see a blank line with a blinking cursor. to the right of that line you will see select (*.bin) SELECT IT which should bring you to that down load file. There you will see Mobile_ Bootloader_  R2.01S.bin  DOUBLE CLICK ON IT it should fill in that blank line on your Flashburn 1.10 then while holding down the P1 button on the front of your CS800 turn on the power just for a second and it should go into the programming mode. Then on your flashburn software you will see the word flash. CLICK IT. Watch the progress bar and follow the prompts.
Radio should turn off on it own. Turn back on and do the same thing for the Firmware version 1.01.01

Note: When I uploaded or flashed the firmware, it went in and said success. However the radio did not shut off on its own. I then waited two minutes and turned it off and on again. It was fine.

When done go to your radio info under utilities > Radio Info >Firmware Ver.  and check the firmware version. Should read S1.01.01
