Connect Systems CS800 (UHF) and CS801 (VHF) DMR mobile radios
Connect Systems CS800 remote mount kit
All you need is a cat 5 cable or the 20.00 flat cable remote mount is on radio just pull 4 screws behind head
Unfortunately, Cat5 cable isn't well enough shielded and it introduces "motorboating"

it look great, I can not wait to get my unit
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, Cat5 cable isn't well enough shielded and it introduces "motorboating" just like a cheap mic and an MD-380... :(
ReplyDeleteI have the remote mount kit with my radio. It doesn't have the pieces shown in the photo. Where can I buy the part that attaches to the backing plate?
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know where I can buy the mount for the backing plate? That part in not included in my remote mount kit.
ReplyDeleteJust remove the bezel receiver from the radio itself. The service manual shows 4-scres to remove this. Then the bezel receiver is just reused as the back for the separated head.
ReplyDeleteHi guys, where can I purchase this kit? Want to install it in my car.
